American Legion Auxiliary

The American Legion Auxiliary

Become part of the largest patriotic service organization in the world! We are the wives, husbands, mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, granddaughters and great-granddaughters of veterans who served our great country in uniform. Some of us are veterans ourselves. 2022 and 2023 membership fee is $35.

Activities & Involvement

The Auxiliary is involved in a variety of activities and events at Post 37. A sampling of these activities includes:

  • National Guard Family Picnic
  • National Guard Holiday Dinner
  • Steak Fry
  • Omelet Breakfast
  • ​Gift Wrapping 
  • Supporting needed repairs and maintenance

Meetings

The Auxiliary meets on the 2nd Monday of the month at 5:30pm in the Legion Club Room from September through May. The Auxiliary does not meet during the summer months except to hold officer elections in June.

Eligibility

Membership in the American Legion Auxiliary shall be limited to the grandmothers, mothers, sisters, wives, husbands and direct and adopted female descendants of members of The American Legion, and to the grandmothers, mothers, sisters, wives, husbands and direct and adopted female descendants of all men and women who were in the Armed Forces of the United States during any of the following periods and died in the line of duty during such service, or who, having received an Honorable Discharge, died after service:
